Service Description
The Private Shadow Session is an observational learning experience created for nail students and developing nail artists who want to see a complete professional service performed in real time. During your session, you’ll observe Chanovia as she works with a client or scheduled model—from workstation preparation and consultation through application, finishing, and final presentation. Your shadow experience may include observing: • Workstation setup and sanitation • Client consultation and nail assessment • Nail preparation and retention practices • Product application and control • Shaping, structure, filing, and finishing • Service timing and workflow • Client communication and care • Final photos and service presentation • Professional habits used behind the nail table Questions are welcomed at designated times so the service can remain comfortable and uninterrupted for the client. Please note: Book Sunday only, the exact date and time will be coordinated with you based on the availability of the service being observed. This is an observational experience and does not include hands-on practice. Nail artists wanting personalized instruction and guided practice should reserve the Private 1:1 Nail Coaching experience. Who this is for: This experience is ideal for nail students, beginner nail artists, and developing professionals who want to observe a real-world service before investing in private hands-on coaching. What to bring: Please bring a notebook or tablet for taking notes. You do not need to bring nail products or equipment because this is an observational session. Payment and rescheduling policy: A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your Private Shadow Session. The remaining $200 balance is due 48 hours before the scheduled session. If the scheduled client or model cancels, your session will be transferred to a new date at no additional charge. Participant cancellations and rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 72 hours in advance. Payments are nonrefundable, but one transfer may be permitted when proper notice is provided.
Cancellation Policy
A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your Private Shadow Session. The remaining $200 balance is due 48 hours before the confirmed session. Shadow sessions are held on Sundays. The date and time selected during booking serves as a reservation request. Your final shadow date and arrival time will be communicated based on the availability of the professional service being observed. If the participating client cancels or reschedules, your Shadow Session may need to be moved. You will be offered another available date at no additional charge. Students may reschedule once with at least 72 hours’ notice. Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice, late cancellations, missed sessions, and no-shows will result in the loss of all payments made. This is an observational learning experience and does not include hands-on practice. Client privacy and comfort must be respected at all times. Photography, video recording, and sharing client information are prohibited unless permission is provided in advance. Late arrival may reduce the amount of observation time available and will not change the session price. All payments are nonrefundable.
